There is one word that perfectly describes Sprague - and that is "SWEET". We couldnt ask for a more loving steady family companion as we have in her. She is the result of a repeat breeding we did between her dam, Keeper's Lucky Strike (Lucky) and Tug.
Sprague reminds us very much of her dam. She is quirky, funny, watchful and thoughtful. If she thinks something is wrong with her human family, she tries in a Lassie-like attempt to make it right. Sprague didn't like the show ring atmosphere. She attended the shows with a great amount of tolerance AND only because we asked it of her. She gained a couple AKC points along the way - however, seeing her so miserable on the other end of the lead did not make those winning points feel so good.....her lack of enthusiasm was very obvious to all....so we stopped taking her.
She now enjoys her role as number one watch dog of our home and property.
